Why GSA?

GSA has been successfully running summer schools for over 20 years and has built an international reputation for delivering high-quality training.

Programme overview

GSA’s summer schools take place at our purpose built facilities which are located on the Stag Hill Campus at the University of Surrey in Guildford. The courses available provide a stimulating refresher, booster or an introduction to basic theatre training for people of all ages with a wide range of theatre interests and backgrounds.

Tutors come from all areas of the industry and students have the opportunity to work closely with GSA staff. Everyone who joins a GSA Summer School will be encouraged to work hard in order to gain the full experience of rehearsing and performing and all students will receive a certificate of achievement from GSA on completion of the course.

2018 Summer Schools will be announced January 2018.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry auditions for GSA Summer School programmes but places are limited so early application is advised. Age requirements apply for each programme and there is no upper age limit on our 17+ programmes.
