2nd Year BA Actors
By Jim Cartwright
In the course of one night, the drunken guide Scullery conducts a tour of his Road, a derelict Lancashire street. A portrait of desperation in the north of England under Thatcher’s government: all human life is here in various guises. This award winning play was premiered at The Royal Court Theatre in 1986. Strong language and adult themes feature strongly in this Cartwright’s first play.
