All at GSA are immensely saddened by the tragic news of the passing of our friend Jamie Barber. Jamie was a leading advocate for the arts in Guildford and a true friend and ally of GSA. He devoted his life to the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre.
GSA remains profoundly indebted to him for his commitment to the training and development of generations of artists and technicians and the valuable opportunities he consistently provided for our students to work within a professional theatre environment. Head of GSA, Sean McNamara stated "I was immensely fond of Jamie and had great respect for his leadership and guidance. I and all at GSA will miss him dearly”.
