Equality, Access and Inclusion
Our mission is to be a centre of international excellence in conservatoire training and education. We prepare our students to meet the challenges of pursuing fulfilling and successful careers in the creative industries. We are attentive to societal, cultural and economic barriers that exist for some people, and we seek to actively tackle those barriers.
We are actively engaged in the practice of providing a learning and working environment that is welcoming and respectful for people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalized.
Our work to support access and inclusion takes various forms. Recently, we welcomed professionals from different areas of the creative industry to a panel discussion and Q&A at GSA, where we discussed a variety of topics including routes into the creative industries, training, navigating complex situations and how to support and uplift gender-diverse voices within the sector.
