Short Courses Online

Due to COVID19 these short courses will be run online this year and will be focusing on how to create excellent audition self-tapes as well as how to master face to face auditions.

Why GSA?

GSA is widely recognised by the entertainment industry as a provider of the foremost performing arts training in the world and our pre-audition courses offer students hoping to gain entry in to drama school invaluable experience and advice.

We are also holding audition techniques classes in Summer Conservatoire.

Programme overview

We offer two pathways of this two-day intensive weekend course: Musical Theatre audition technique and Acting audition technique. The Musical Theatre pathway focuses on audition techniques and integrated skills within acting, singing and dance whilst the Acting pathway places emphasis on acting technique, voice and movement.

Please note this course is not solely for preparation for GSA auditions but for any drama school.

Is it for me?

If you are serious and determined to pursue a career in the performing arts industry and want an insight into drama school audition days - this is the course for you.

Our aim is to offer experience through mock auditions, intensive technical workshops and how to prepare for auditions. Guidance will be given on your audition material, how to present yourself and any areas you may need to develop further in order to give you the best possible chance of success.

You must be aged 17+ (A2) to do this course.

Dates 2020-2021

17th and 18th October: Musical Theatre and Acting (Please note this course is now FULL)

7th and 8th November: Musical Theatre

21st and 22nd November: Musical Theatre and Acting 

16th and 17th January: Musical Theatre and Acting

Sundays 10.00am – 5.00pm
