GSA first drama school to audition in Hull - Looking at widening accessibility, Head of GSA Sean McNamara says "We understand the challenges, particularly the cost... the onus is on us making more of an effort to come out of our bubble in the South East". GSA is the first drama school to do so." This was an HEYACT (Hull and East Yorkshire Arts and Culture Trust) initiative with GSA and Alumnus, Olivier Award winning, Michael Jibson (Best Supporting actor for his role as King George III in Hamilton). Auditions were held at NAPA (Northern Academy of Performing Arts). Hull has now been added to the regional GSA audition destinations that cover the length and breadth of the country and include many International cities too including the New York, Chicago, Hong Kong, Canada etc. Watch the BBC North Television Coverage HERE
