Period Poverty Project

Let's End Period Poverty

Periods are not a choice, yet sanitary products are treated as a luxury so it’s about bloody time you have access to free sanitary products!

The Period Poverty Project pilot at Surrey will take place from March 2022 – August 2022. It is a collaborative project between the Students’ Union Support Zone and the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) department that aims to provide free, sustainable period products across all three University of Surrey campuses to any student or staff member that needs them.

The locations you can find the products on each campus are as follows:

Stag Hill Campus:

  • Students’ Union Reception
  • Centre for Wellbeing
  • MySurrey Hive
  • The Library
  • Guildford School of Acting (GSA)
  • The Business Management School (MS Building)

Manor Park:

  • Manor Park Reception

Hazel Farm:

  • Common Room

Please help yourself to these products but be mindful of others who may need them too!
